Original Oil Painting | 8 x 10 Inches
Day 2 of 100 Paintings in 100 Days

Fresh from the local farmer's market, Blueberries celebrates the quiet beauty of an everyday subject. This original painting captures a simple carton of blueberries with rich color, strong design, and expressive brushwork.

As the second painting in my ongoing 100 Paintings in 100 Days project, this piece continues my commitment to daily observation and creative practice. Through this series, I'm exploring how ordinary objects can become extraordinary when viewed with attention and painted with intention.

The vibrant turquoise berry basket contrasts beautifully with the deep blue fruit and cool shadows, creating a composition that feels both contemporary and timeless. Painted from life, the work emphasizes color relationships, light, and the subtle poetry of everyday moments.

Whether displayed in a kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room, or art collection, Blueberries brings a cheerful sense of abundance and freshness to any space.

About the Series

100 Paintings in 100 Days is an exploration of consistency, observation, and artistic growth. Each day presents a new subject and a new opportunity to study light, color, and design. Together, the series will become a visual diary of one hundred days of painting.

Blueberries represents the second step in that journey.
