When I was a kid in the 70's, my older brother wore the green converses and I thought it was so cool. I am a working artist. My undergraduate and graduate degrees in art are from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with additional graduate work at Johnson State University in Vermont. I have also completed several artist residencies, including Vermont Studio Center and SCUOLA di ARS GRAFICA in Venice, Italy.

My works have been shown nationally and internationally in over 60 juried exhibitions and solo shows. Recent exhibitions include the Blue Mountain Gallery in NYC, San Diego Museum of Art and Savannah College of Art and Design. I have been a visiting artist at several universities and have won awards for my work. I’ve also shown my work in the UK, Italy, France, Germany and China.
