I took a fall trip to Nags Head to paint and experience the Outer Banks. It was my first trip to this beautiful and relaxed area. I sat up my easel and started mixing the unique color palette of the Atlantic Ocean. The sun was warm on my shoulders and the gentle rhythm of the waves crashing took me to a very relaxed place in my mind.
There is a wonderful history and vibe to this area of my home state and I can't believe I waited this long to visit it. So much of the story of this place is tied to the ocean waters.
This painting will transport and connect you to the beautiful and relaxing energy of the ocean waters. Close your eyes and feel the breeze and taste the salty air.
